You can pull up a seat and watch the goats and chickens and ducks and just enjoy the beautiful scenery as the shadows from the clouds pass over the nearby bluffs.
There's an outhouse with sanitizer if you need to use a restroom. This would be a great experience for families. The children can roam and play on the equipment while you sit and enjoy your meal.
Amazing pizza and relaxing atmosphere while waiting foe your pizza. Love this place. Just remember to pack your chairs and table so you are more comfortable
A couple of notes. It isn't very self-explanatory, so you need to be a little bit bold in visiting the place. There isn't a lot of signage telling you what to do or where to go. We almost didn't stop because we couldn't tell from the road whether it was open and where we were to go and park. You have to drive past the house, along the driveway, to park near the back. From there you'll see where the food is made and served. Again, there weren't a lot of directions. You stand in line where they take your order and you pay. They hand you a bucket with a number on it, along with a mason jar filled with water. You then proceed to go onto the property to find a seat. Feel free to move tables and chairs around as you need to. It's all very casual.
If you're looking for a relaxing, out-of-the ordinary experience, consider stopping into Suncrest Gardens Farm for their wood-fired pizza. I'd definitely recommend calling first, so you know if they're open, what they're serving, and if there's any entertainment. On some Friday nights they have live music. The second Saturday of the month, they serve additional food items from the cafe.
Very informal atmosphere, outdoor seating (bring your own chairs), great pizza. Expect a wait for the pizza, use the time to visit or just enjoy the beautiful farm.
Great place to visit especially when they have live entertainment. The food is always good and they add more options all the time with a variety of drinks including craft beers. There's also a place for the kids to run around with a playground and different animals to check out.
Can I put 10 stars? The food was incredible- pizzas so interesting and well done you'll ask yourself why you ever ate others. The appetizers are fresh and not overly filling. While you wait, sit on the blanket or chairs you bring (very limited seating but lots of room to stretch out on the grounds) and watch kids run around, goats knock heads, or the Cornish hens cluck. If you have room after feasting on the main course- grab a smore kit and roast to your hearts content at the fire pit. Worried you might have another craving before you can make it back? Buy one of their frozen pizzas! Huge beer selection so you will be happy, happy, happy.
We had two wood-fired pizzas. They were excellent, with plenty of cheese. The crust is a bit soft, more like New York style (not crispy), but we enjoyed it.
